I would encourage you to start making your plans to attend this year’s major AOA COE meeting being held on the 8-10 June 2016 at the new convention space at Ayers Rock Resort.
The theme is “Trauma in the Outback” and we have configured a programme covering all aspects of orthopaedic trauma care, focusing on fractures we see every day in our practice. Our invited overseas speaker is Rick Buckley from Canada who will be sharing his wealth of experience in orthopaedic trauma care.
For the first time the Australasian Orthopaedic Trauma Society (AOTS) will hold their Annual Scientific Meeting at the same location commencing in the afternoon on Friday 10 June and concluding in the afternoon on the 11 June 2016. The AOTS Annual Scientific Meeting that will immediately follow the COE meeting which will cover orthopaedic related free papers, research, fellowships and workshops.
We are excited to try this new location in Uluru in an attempt to bring education to our rural and remote surgeons. Being in the centre of our great country, we would like to see attendees from the both sides of our country on the east and west coast.
I look forward to seeing you in Uluru.
